Work description :

Piping installation

• Fabrication, erection, hydrostatic test of process, and utilization of piping work for Methyl Ester Plant (99,000 DB) and Fatty Alcohol Plant (89,000 DB). Piping consisted of 45% of C.S pipe, 50% of SUS 304L pipe, 4% of SUS 316 Ti and 1% of alloy pipe (P22)
• Supply, fabrication and erection of 225 tons steel pipe supports

Equipment installation 

• Erection of rotating, equipment and static equipment at 300 tons in total

All painting work (sandblasting to top coat)  :  approximate = 20,000 m2

Contract value (Baht) : 217,291,340.47

Duration :  February 8, 2007 – March 15, 2008 (Methyl ester plant had to be completed by November 30, 2007 but it was completed 3 weeks before schedule)

Scope of work :  Piping materials and equipment were supplied by the client, others were supplied by K Thai.

Maximum No. of workers :  988 people at peak period

Total man-hours : 1,000,000 man-hr for direct workers only
